Disability Awareness in the Workplace is an online, self-paced course designed for all employees. It builds understanding of disability, the barriers people with disability may experience, and how workplaces can create more inclusive environments.
Participants explore the social and practical concepts of disability, the lived experiences of people with disability, and the legal frameworks that support inclusion in Australia. The course also provides practical strategies for respectful communication, inclusive language and reducing environmental and attitudinal barriers in the workplace.
